This Colt M16A2 rifle model was for export and is unique in that it has the M16A1 rear sight but also has the newest, reinforced receiver, updated forward assist and brass deflector. This is the Product Improved version of the prior Colt M16A2 Model 711. The Model 715 has the thicker M16A2 barrel profile,which reinforces the barrel-receiver interface.
